Mississippi’s Fantastic 44
Just 2 weeks before the inaugural opening of the Fantastic 44, organizers at the Hank Aaron Sports Academy say they have met their goal of attracting the 44 players that they had hoped would participate. “We will now work on getting our 6 alternate players to round out the rosters before creating 2 teams that will practice together and then play against one another in the exposure series in July”. Says Tim Bennett – CEO of Hank Aaron Sports Academy
The teams will face off against one another at MGM Park home of the Milwaukee Brewers (AA) Biloxi Shuckers on July 2nd before taking the field on July 10th at Trustmark Park the home of the Atlanta Braves (AA) Mississippi Braves, with the final game in July taking place in Birmingham at historic Rickwood Field (date/time TBA).
